Judge Pulver is a former litigator and Judge. A graduate of Tulane Univ., he litigated cases in federal and state courts in a dozen different states in areas including maritime personal injury and death, maritime collision, aviation, products liability, corporate and insurance coverage disputes. In 1997, Judge Pulver was appointed a Federal Administrative Law Judge for the Social Security Admin. through a competitive selection process. In 2002, Judge Pulver was appointed as an Administrative Law Judge for the U.S. Dept. of Labor in San Francisco, CA where he decided cases under a number of federal statutes until his retirement in September of 2013. Judge Pulver has been trained as a mediator through the National Judicial College at the Univ. of Nevada, Reno in 2003 and again in 2008 and has actively mediated cases as part of his judicial duties since 2003.
